The Aston Kaaanapali Shores is a fantastic, family-friendly beachfront property located in north Kaanapali, a little north of Whaler's Village. This condominium, renovated in 2005 and offering beautiful, well-maintained grounds, is located right on a sandy beach. The Aston Kaanapali Shores is an excellent choice for couples or families and has amenities that include 2 pools, 2 jacuzzi's, BBQ area, restaurant, tennis courts, fitness center (fee), seasonal children's program, nightly entertainment, mini-mart and an activity desk. The Aston Kaanapali Shores offers hotel rooms, studios, one and two bedroom units with full kitchens (except the hotel room category). All units have central air conditioning while the one and two bedroom units offer a washer/dryer. There are also central laundry facilities on property. The hotel rooms will accommodate 2 guests, studios 3 guests, one bedrooms up to 5 guests and the two bedrooms will accommodate 7 guests. The Aston Kaanapali Shores is a favorite property for returning guests. This property has it all.
I have stayed several times at the Aston Kaanapali Shores for both business and pleasure. This property is a favorite with me and my two girls, ages 11 & 12. My kids love the pools and the grass areas where they can run around and play. We especially love the oceanfront pool where we can swim and look out at the ocean. The popular restaurant at the property called "The Beach Club" is great for breakfast or relaxing at lunch or dinner. The pina coladas are very tasty, as well. My kids also attended the children's program at the Aston Kaanapali Shores which they enjoyed immensely while I was able to enjoy some sites around West Maui.
The Kaanapali area has so many things to offer such as excellent restaurants, shopping, famous golf courses, snorkeling and just plain-old relaxing. Be sure to visit the town of Lahaina where you can walk down Front Street eating a Shave Ice and do a little shopping or people-watching. You will also want to visit the Whaler's Village area where you can visit the Whaling museum and learn some more about the history of Maui. Take a ride on the Sugarcane Train which is a favorite for younger children. Maui is the perfect vacation destination for couples or families.
