The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is an outstanding, renovated and upscale hotel located on a sandy, swimming beach in Waikiki on the island of Oahu. This very popular hotel just completed renovations in 2008 that included all common areas and as well as the rooms. The Outrigger Reef on the Beach has a refurbished pool, 3 jacuzzi's, health spa, restaurants, entertainment, concierge, shops, fitness center and a business center. Its' location to the Waikiki Beachwalk makes this hotel ideal for travelers wanting to be near Waikiki's newest shopping and dining areas.
Whenever I go on business or vacation in Waikiki, I enjoy staying at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. Don't forget to try the "Shorebird Restaurant" where you can cook your own meals (lots of fun). The Reef on the Beach is very close to Fort DeRussy and nearby to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The many on-site amenities make this hotel very convenient for couples or small families who desire a full-service property.
The renovated, awesome rooms at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach all come with a small refrigertor that is handy for storing drinks and snacks. The free high-speed internet access is a wonderful feature for travelers who need to use their laptop while away in Waikiki. Local phone calls are also free in addition to a free daily newspaper, free safe and free coffee. Complimentary use of the fitness center is also included for all guests. If you want to catch a memorable Hawaiian sunset, the location of the Reef on the Beach can provide you with a truly magnificent one. There are beach services provided at the hotel for guests needing assistance with any ocean activities.
